Warehouse Assistant

Gentle Giant Moving Company is looking to fill a Warehouse Assistant position based in Wilmington Massachusetts. This position is responsible for providing warehouse support for Gentle Giant storage and warehouse operations. The responsibilities include the ability to safely operate a fork truck (training will be provided) and to stage & relocate storage vaults and other pieces as well as the ability to work in a courteous and efficient manner with customers, vendors and other GG employees.

Job Summary: Provide warehouse support for Gentle Giant storage & warehouse operations. Responsibilities include:

- Safely operate a fork truck* several hours a day staging and stacking storage vaults and other pieces.

- Work in a courteous and efficient manner with customers, vendors and other GG employees.

- Warehouse maintenance, recycling and other general warehouse tasks.

- Provide additional support at other Gentle Giant facilities as needed.

* Some experience required, further training and certification for Fork Truck license available

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· High School graduate or equivalent (GED)

· Familiarity with Gentle Giant business and customers

· Proficient computer skills

· Excellent organizational and customer service abilities

· The ability to get the job done with minimal supervision in a safe and efficient manner

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
